With 170 miles of running and bicycle paths, Lane County is considered one of the more bicycle & pedestrian friendly areas in the US.
Eugene boasts 30 miles of off-street bike paths as well as 89 miles of on-street bike lanes. Springfield bike lanes connect with those of Eugene and metropolitan bikeways of Lane County.
The city of Eugene has received a Silver rating from the League of American Bicyclists. Topping that by two stars, Corvallis received a Platinum score along with Portland.
