Visual Arts
Lane County became a bastion to counter culture and the arts in the 60s and 70s. This gave rise to a panoply of diverse arts organizations, galleries and studios run by groups of creative people who forge artistic paths less traveled.
You’ll find a wealth of resources as well as Art Walk events, open galleries and many outdoor marketplace events that include local arts and crafts. Be sure to check out the section for individual artists. We’ve devoted a free page to any local artist wishing to post samples of his or her work.
