Ah, nature is exquisite! Right down to the details she pays attention, from the decaying leaf glistening in the morning sun to the shimmer of a bud about to bloom.

I am awed at how the entirety of a landscape can be reflected in a single drop, and how the simplest of things, so often overlooked, can hold so much beauty when touched by the light.

It is my hope to capture these moments, these beautiful displays of composition that are all around us, every day, and share them with you. For it is really nature who provides the canvas, I just hold the camera!

In addition to being a photographer, I love to play with language. I run a small business in Eugene, Oregon, called Creative Mind Publications and I recently released my first book, Believe. Illustrated with beautiful photographic mandalas, Believe reminds you just how powerful you can be when you remember to believe in yourself!

All original prints are personally printed and signed by Katharine M. Emlen. Each photo is matted and mounted and ready to be framed by an 11 x 14 frame. Mats are acid free and are black with a black bevel. The only color will come from the original print and the frame you choose.

Matted photographs cost $65.00 each. If you live in the Eugene area I am happy to deliver your matted prints to you. If you live outside of Eugene, or, would like your photographs mailed to you, please add $5.00 for shipping and handling.
