The City of Eugene Athletics Department offers Summer and Fall softball leagues for men's, women's, and coed teams. This program is designed as a low key recreational opportunity for Eugene area residents.

Divisions

There are multiple divisions and teams are organized into leagues according to skill level and experience (based on desired type of playing: recreational, semi-competitive and competitive).

Men's A, B, C, D, 50+
Women's A, B, C, D
Co-ed A, B, C, D
(A represents advanced, B intermediate, and so on)

Generally speaking, interested parties form their own team rosters and submit them to the Athletics Department. If you are new in town and wish to join a team, you may contact the Athletics Department to be placed on an "interested list" so that team managers can contact you.

Summer Season

Registration for the summer season takes place during the first week of April. Proposed fees are $565-$600 per team (League fees cover one umpire per game, balls, ballfield maintenance, lights, printing, postage, and administration of the league.) Games begin the week before Memorial Day.

Fall Season

The Fall season is shorter than the summer season. Registration takes place at the end of July and games begin at the end of August. Fees for the Fall season are $305 per team.

Player Eligibility
All players must be 18 years of age. All players must be on the team roster to be eligible. A player can be registered with only one men's team or women's team and one coed team in the City league program.

If you have any additional questions, contact the Athletics office at 682-5409.
