The Humane Society of Cottage Grove is a non-profit organization comprised of dedicated volunteers who seek to improve the lives of animals in our area, and to educate the community regarding animal welfare issues. Although, we have no local shelter we offer a variety of services to our community.
The Shuttle Program
Trained volunteers transport unwanted animals from a Cottage Grove drop-off site to Greeenhill Humane Society in Eugene, Oregon.
Lost & Found
Registers missing and found animals. Information is given as to the course of action to take in the event of a lost or found pet.
This 'N' That Corner
This second hand shop, located at 33 N. 8th Street, Cottage Grove, Oregon, is a regular source of income for our programs. Donations are always welcome. We accept new or used items in good condition (no large appliances please).
In our shop we sell Sees Candy. Looking for a cat tree? We have assorted cat trees at a great price.
Education Program
Our education program sends volunteers to schools, service clubs, etc. with information and presentations on various animal issues and subjects.
Humane Trap Lending
Allows individuals the use of a live trap along with counseling on the appropriate destination for the animal.
Spay/Neuter Assistance
We provide various financial assistance with spay/neuter costs to a qualifying person.

At various times of the year, we have half-price coupons for the spaying and neutering of certain pets.
LISNAP(Low-Income Spay & Neuter Assistance Program) is a program to assist qualified persons with low-cost spay and neuter. You can get an application by going to our This 'N' That Shop, Community Sharing, and the Department of Human Services.
Grief Counseling
Provides a way to help people deal with the loss of an animal friend.
